# FAQ

**1) How does Layer3 work?**

> Layer3 turns onchain activity into rewards. Complete Activations across 1,000+ protocols, collect CUBEs that record what you've done, compete in Competitions, and get Perks matched to your profile, all from one app.

**2) What can I earn on Layer3?**

> Token rewards (over $35M distributed to date), XP and Levels, CUBEs, Achievements, Competition prize pools, and Perks: non-token rewards like gift cards, early access, and exclusive offers.

**3) Does Layer3 have a token?**

> Yes. **L3** is Layer3's token. You can [stake L3](https://app.layer3.xyz/staking) on EVM or Solana for earning power, Perks eligibility, and platform privileges. For tokenomics, distribution, and governance, see the [Layer3 Foundation docs](https://docs.layer3foundation.org). Be wary of anyone promising airdrops or token rewards on Layer3's behalf. Official announcements come only from our verified channels.

**4) How does XP work? Can you give me XP or change my XP?**

> XP is earned only through activity: Activations, Streaks, and claims. We never add, remove, or change anyone's XP, and we will never offer to. Anyone claiming they can is a scammer.

**5) Can I connect more than one wallet?**

> Yes. Attach multiple EVM and Solana wallets to one profile from [Settings](https://app.layer3.xyz/settings/profile). Your reputation spans all of them. To prevent abuse, wallets generally can't be disconnected once linked, so connect wallets you control long-term.

**6) Why do CUBEs cost a small fee to mint?**

> CUBEs are real onchain credentials: minting writes to the blockchain, which carries a network fee. See [CUBEs](/layer3-updated-docs/platform/cubes.md).

**7) How do I qualify for Perks?**

> You qualify automatically: Layer3's engine matches Perks to your profile, built from your CUBEs, chains, and activity history. See [Perks](/layer3-updated-docs/platform/perks.md).

**8) How do Competitions payouts work?**

> Each competition defines its own metric (volume, PnL, ROI), duration, rules, and prize pool. Read the detail page before joining. Prizes are distributed by final leaderboard rank when the competition settles. See [Competitions](/layer3-updated-docs/platform/competitions.md).

**9) Can my project launch on Layer3?**

> Yes. The [Builder](/layer3-updated-docs/builder/overview.md) is self-serve: create your Space, lock L3, and launch your first Activation.
