XP, levels, Leagues, Achievements, and token claims: how progression works on Layer3.
Everything you do on Layer3 feeds a single progression system. Here's the map:
Activations and Competitions can pay out real tokens, claimable from the Rewards page once earned. Layer3 has distributed $35M in token rewards to date.
Liquid Rewards are a new mechanism on top of token rewards: you earn L3 instantly as you complete Activations, with no waiting. With each CUBE you mint, you earn L3 back, up to 100% of the mint cost.
Your Liquid Reward Rate is set by how much L3 you have locked. Your League status lets you reach the same rate with a smaller lock:

β₯ 5,000 + League status
100%

β₯ 7,500 + League status
For example, 22,500 L3 locked (or Diamond League + 7,500 L3 locked) earns you 100% back in L3 on every CUBE mint.
Two levers, one rate: climb your League or stake more L3 to reach higher tiers.
Experience Points (XP) measure your progress. Earn XP from Activations, Streak stamps, and reward claims. XP drives your Level, your spot on the Leaderboard, and access to gated experiences.
XP is only ever earned through activity. Nobody, including Layer3, will offer to add or change your XP. Treat anyone claiming otherwise as a scammer.
Climb through tiered Leagues as you progress. Higher League status means more earning power, including higher Liquid Rewards tiers with less L3 locked. Each tier has its own leaderboard, so you're always competing against your peers.
Achievements celebrate platform milestones across categories. Collect them as you explore and show them off on your profile.
Two reward surfaces go beyond the progression loop:
Perks: non-token rewards (gift cards, early access, exclusive offers, physical goods) matched to your activity profile.
Competitions: prize pools won by performance rather than participation.
